Activating Your JRebel License
After installing JRebel, the next step is to activate your license. To begin, open IntelliJ and go to the Help menu. Hover over JRebel, then click on Activation. This will bring up the license activation window, where you'll see three different methods to activate JRebel—choose the one that matches your setup.
Option 1: Team URL
Select this option if your network administrator has provided you with a team URL. This URL includes the address of your license server along with a unique license key. Enter the team URL in the first field and your email address in the second. Once both fields are filled out, click Activate JRebel to complete the process.
Option 2: License File
Choose this method if you purchased a license and received a .lic file via email. Click Browse, locate the file on your machine, and select it. Once the license file is loaded, the field will turn green to confirm it’s valid. Click Activate JRebel to finalize the activation.
Option 3: Activation Code
If you’re using a trial license, select the Activation Code option. Simply paste your trial code into the provided text field. When you're done, click Activate JRebel to finish.
Once activated, JRebel will be fully enabled and ready to use within your IDE.
